In unaided colleges including the professional colleges 50% of seats would be given in the merit quota, admission into which would be decided on the basis of a general entrance examination
Fees in the self-financing colleges would be reduced. For merit quota
seats, the fee would be same as that of government professional colleges.
When the government says that two self-financing institutions constitute one
government college, this is what it amounts to
The admission
to self-financing medical colleges for the current year would be
made only after the verdict of the Supreme Court is given
The increase in the fees for the SSLC, Degree and Post Graduate Classes would be reduced by half
The unified University Bill would be discussed with the students representatives
The fee collected from school students for computer studies would be reduced
