Condemns Plot Against Korea
The
International Department of the Central Committee, Communist Party of India
(Marxist) issued the following statement on March 18, 2006
WE
have received the news that the US and some ultra-right forces in South Korea
are attempting to hold “International rally on the Korean Human Rights
issue” in Brussels, Belgium, on March 22-23, 2006.
It
is clear to everyone that this rally also, after the December rally last year,
is a part of despicable anti-DPRK smear campaign aimed at tarnishing the image
of DPRK and hindering the process of peace and re-unification of the Korean
Peninsula.
At
the time when North-South relations are developing favourably and more and more
loud voices to achieve reunification under the idea of “by our nation
itself”, are echoing among Korean people in North-South, especially after the
adoption of June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, such an anti-DPRK “human
rights racket” planned by the US and its lackeys, is just a sinister political
plot, which needs to be condemned by all.
The
International Department of the Central Committee, Communist Party of India
(Marxist), strongly condemn and demand to put a stop to this deliberate
provocation.
We
extend our full support and firm solidarity with the Korean people’s just
struggle for peace in the Korean Peninsula and re-unification of the
father-land.
