Condolences Pour In For Chitto da

Various state committees of the Party, mass organisations, federations, prominent personalities and others have condoled the death of CPI(M) Polit Bureau member and CITU general secretary Comrade Chittabrata Majumdar. 

Rashed Khan Menon, president of Workers Party of Bangladesh, in a condolence message sent to CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat stated that Comrade Chittabrata was a great trade unionist who also took keen interest about trade union movement of Bangladesh. 

The AIKS, AIAWU, AIDWA, DYFI, SFI, AISGEF, Confederation of Central Govt Employees and Workers, BSNL Employees Union, CITU state committees have condoled the death of Comrade Chittabrata Majumdar. Lok Sabha speaker Somnath Chatterjee expressed deep sorrow at the passing away of Comrade Chittabrata Majumdar, stating that it was a personal loss to him. (INN)
