CP of Bohemia & Moravia Condemn the Bengal Murders

The following is the solidarity message sent by Vojtech Filip, chairman of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM) to the Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on February 29, 2012

WITH deep sadness and sorrow, the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia has received  the news of the murder of two CPI(M) leaders, members of CPI(M) Burdwan district committee, Comrade Pradip Tah and Comrade Kamal Gayen  in broad daylight, in the town of Dewangdighi, by hired killers.

We strongly condemn the cowardly unjustifiable act of violence against people who were doing nothing but demonstrating for their democratic and trade union rights. For this, they had to pay the highest price.

On my behalf and on behalf of the KSCM’s Central Committee as well as of all Czech Communists, I bid the last farewell to these brave sons of India and I would like to express the deepest sympathy to both your Party and to the bereaved families.
