Sixtieth Anniversary of the Cuban Rebellion Day

The 60^th anniversary of the Cuban Rebellion Day was observed on July 26 in New Delhi. Prakash Karat, general secretary iof the CPI(M), A B Bardhan, veteran leader of the CPI and Eduardo Quintana Santos, minister councillor of the Cuban Embassy spoke on this occasion. Abani Roy of the RSP presided over the meeting in which diplomatic corps from various embassies, leaders of various political parties and mass organisations participated. The meeting was jointly organised by the National Committee for solidarity with Cuba and the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Cuba.
